We, the Department of Animal Production and Health, are dedicated to supply consumer safe animal products for the people of Sri Lanka. Thousands of livestock farmers shed blood, sweat and tears to accomplish this task. Besides, small scale, medium scale and large scale livestock and marketing entrepreneurs, Livestock and farm machinery and equipment manufacturers and suppliers, veterinary pharmaceutical, animal feed manufacturers and suppliers are linked closely to develop livestock sector as well.

Since we all are experiencing and gaining benefits from the advanced communication technologies, I hope this website would be a great platform for our livestock producers, consumers and for the public who are seeking knowledge on livestock and animal health.
